The Second International Conference on Applied Mathematics in Engineering (ICAME'21) was successfully held online between 1-3 September 2021. Following the successful organization of the ICAME'18, ICAME'21 was also a well-organized and productive conference even though it is an online version due to the Covid-19 circumstances. The conference was an ideal platform to bring together leading researchers and academics in the field of applied mathematics and engineers to debate current and interdisciplinary topics in control, fractional calculus, optimization, and their applications in engineering science.
During the conference;
- Six plenary lectures (by Prof. Albert Luo, Prof. J. A. Tenreiro Machado, Prof. Sverre Holm, Prof. Dumitru Baleanu, Prof. Gerhard-Wilhelm Weber and Prof. Praveen Agarwal),
- Four invited talks (by Prof. Jordan Hristov, Prof. Carla Pinto, Prof. Huseyin Merdan, Prof. Amin Jajarmi), and
- A total of 143 presentations (in four parallel sessions)
have been successfully presented by over 120 participants from 27 different countries thanks to the flexibility of online meeting environment.
A round-table discussion session (with leading scholars in their fields) was also organized to discuss new and emerging topics for young researchers and PhD students.
The authors of the papers presented at the conference will be notified via email regarding the selection of papers for publication in journal special issues, Springer book and conference proceedings.
It was not possible to organize a social tour this time but hopefully planning to explore the historical and fascinating views of Ayvalik, and Cunda Island in the next event in 2023!
Thank you all who joined us!
The Abstract Book has been published (click here to download).
The Proceedings Book (ISBN: 978-605-70379-8-5) for those papers not submitted to the special issues has been published (click here to download).
Keep in touch and we hope to see many of you again in the next edition of the conference, ICAME'23!
Following the successful organisation of the ICAME'18, we are pleased to announce that The Second International Conference on Applied Mathematics in Engineering (ICAME'21) will be held between September 1-3, 2021 ONLINE via Zoom. The aim of this conference is to bring together leading researchers and academics in the field of applied mathematics and engineers in order to debate current and interdisciplinary topics in control, fractional calculus, optimization and their applications in engineering science.
ICAME'21 welcomes all original submissions electronically via EasyChair system. All authors need to submit their abstracts in English (min 250 words, no more than one page including references) within the deadline making sure that all author details are complete. The corresponding and the presenting authors must be clearly identified when doing so. All abstracts must be prepared according to the template available at this link (click here). Accepted abstracts will appear in a short book of abstracts with ISBN.
Note that the full-text papers will be submitted "after" the conference. Please click here to see the full text-opportunities.
Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):
- Applied mathematics
- Fractional calculus and its applications
- Optimization and control in engineering
- Mathematical modelling with engineering applications
- Nonlinear dynamical systems and chaos
- Operational research
- Artificial intelligence in engineering
